President Bola Tinubu has said the commissioning of the Mabushi bus terminal in Abuja was a pointer to the fact that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan.
Tinubu disclosed this while commissioning the newly constructed terminal on Tuesday in Abuja.
Represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, Tinubu said the terminal would tackle the activities of unregistered vehicles used by one chance criminals.
He noted that the safety of commuters are assured within the newly completed terminal.
The terminal was constructed under the leadership of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
“No longer will our citizens be left to the mercy of impromptu pick-up points. They will now have a secure, well-regulated environment to board their vehicles, knowing that both the drivers and the vehicles are known and registered.
“This is a clear demonstration that our Renewed Hope Agenda is not merely a slogan, but a lived experience for our people,” he said.
He assured of his administration’s commitment towards creating jobs for Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
