At least two people were killed in separate bandit attacks in Kaduna and Katsina States within the last 24 hours, according to reports shared by a security analyst, Bakatsine, on Friday.
In the first incident, bandits attacked Durum village in Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Thursday night, killing a vigilante member who was reportedly trying to repel the attackers.
The second attack occurred Friday afternoon in Sheme outskirts, located in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State were a local farmer was shot dead, and his cattle were rustled by the gunmen.
“Yesterday night, bandits killed a vigilante during an attack on Durum village, Makarfi LGA, Kaduna State. This afternoon, they killed a farmer and rustled his cattle in Sheme outskirts area, Faskari LGA, Katsina State,” Bakatsine wrote on X.
