Abdulmannan Abubakar Giro, the son of renowned Islamic scholar, late Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu, is dead.
He passed away on Saturday, after a brief illness, nearly two years after the death of his father in September 2023.
Abdulmannan, a graduate of Maryam Abacha University, was the ninth son of the late cleric and served as the head of his father’s social media accounts during his lifetime.
Family sources confirmed that funeral prayers were scheduled for 2:30 pm at the Eid Prayer Ground in Argungu, Kebbi State.
His death has thrown the Argungu community and followers of the late scholar into mourning.
The family has requested prayers for the deceased, seeking Allah’s forgiveness and mercy for his soul.
