NPFL: Usman Abdallah parts ways with Kano Pillars

Usman Abdallah has stepped down from his role as technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, club, Kano Pillars.

Abdallah cited personal reasons for his decision to quit Kano Pillars.

The gaffer guided the Sai Masu Gida to ninth position in the NPFL last season.

Pillars finished 11th on the NPFL table in the previous campaign.

The 50-year-old was suspended during the season after a disagreement with the fans.

Abdallah was appointed head coach of the club few weeks to the start of the season.

The four-time NPFL champions are expected to appoint a new coach before the start of the 2005/26 season.

Abdallah is one of the most experienced coaches in the NPFL.

He once managed nine-time champions Enyimba and Nigeria National League,NNL, Wikki Tourists.

Abdallah was also once an assistant to former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro.
