Sporting striker, Viktor Gyokeres, is threatening to go on strike after the club reportedly broke a transfer promise made to him.
According to records, the relationship between the player and the club has hit a low.
Gyokeres is believed to be “furious” with Sporting’s decision to renege on a transfer promise.
The Portuguese champions had informed Gyokeres that he could leave for £60 million, €70m. However, they are now demanding £70m, €83m.
The 26-year-old has responded by telling the club he feels disrespected and has threatened to go on strike.
Gyokeres might not return for pre-season, as things stand, and may have already played his last game for the club.
Manchester United have made an initial approach for Gyokeres, while Arsenal and Chelsea are also admirers of the Swede.
