Wikki Tourists head coach, Abdulahi Maikaba believes the victory over Mighty Jets will boost his team’s promotion ambition.
The Bauchi Elephants defeated Mighty Jets 3-1 in a keenly contested encounter in Bauchi.
Maikaba pointed out that his players showed character to secure the victory in the game.
“This is a great result and a morale booster for our promotion campaign,” Maikaba told the club’s media.
“The boys showed character, and we’ll keep pushing.
“I’m especially proud of the fans,they’ve been outstanding.”
Wikki Tourists remain at the top of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Group C table with 20 points from 10 games.
