The Nigeria National League (NNL) has expelled 1472 FC from further participation in the 2024/2025 season.
The Lagos side were expelled following the their failure to honour three matches in the League.
The matches were against Abia Comets, Dakkada FC and Ijele FC.
The league body disclosed this in a letter signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana.
According to the letter, 1472 FC were also fined sum of N5 million.
NNL also nullified all the results of the matches played by the club. Also, all their unplayed matches have been cancelled.
