Kano Pillars have described their matchday 32 defeat to Heartland as a painful one.
The Sai Masu Gida suffered a 2-0 loss to the Naze Millionaires at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, on Saturday.
Despite the setback, Kano Pillars assured supporters that the players will return stronger and more determined in the remaining fixtures of the season.
“A painful defeat for us at Heartland,” the club wrote on their official Facebook page.
“Trust the boys to come back stronger and more determined in subsequent matches.”
Following the defeat, Kano Pillars have dropped to ninth position on the league table.
