Kwara United have cancelled the collection of gate fees for their home matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, until the end of the season.
The Harmony Boys disclosed this after a stakeholders’ meeting at the Kwara State Sports Commission Conference Room on Tuesday.
The management of the club requests all football stakeholders and fans to come out en masse to support the team in the remaining matches of the season.
“Following the recommendations reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Kwara State Sports Commission Conference Room on Tuesday, 25 March, members of the public are hereby informed that management have decided to open all Kwara United FC home matches to the public, free of charge, until the end of the season,” Kwara United stated after their meeting.
“Management requests all football stakeholders and fans to come out en masse to support our beloved team to the end at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl of the Agbazika Innih Stadium, Ilorin.”
Kwara United ended their two-game winless run with a 1-0 win over Nasarawa United on Wednesday.
