Nigeria’s Flamingos defeated South Africa 2-0 in the second leg of their 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup second round qualifying tie in Ikenne on Saturday.
Bankole Olowookere’s side sealed a place in the final qualifying round 5-1 on aggregate.
Harmony Chidi broke the deadlock for Nigeria eight minutes before the break.
Chidi also scored twice in the first leg last weekend in Pretoria.
The Flamingos doubled their advantage through Aishat Animashaun 11 minutes after the break.
Nigeria will face the winner of the game between Botswana and Algeria in the final round.
