Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has vowed that he will not negotiate with United States President Donald Trump over a possible nuclear deal.
Pezeshkian made this known in his remarks on Trump, according to state media, Al Arabiya News.
The Iranian president’s comment comes days after Trump claimed he had sent a letter to the country’s top authority urging Tehran to negotiate a nuclear deal.
Pezeshkian stressed that he would not negotiate with Trump under any circumstances.
“I won’t even negotiate with you under threats, do whatever the hell you want,” he said.
Recall that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, had earlier rejected any possibility of negotiating with the United States.
Barely four days ago, Trump hinted that he had sent a letter to Iran in an attempt to negotiate a deal to prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons.
