Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has noted that the media have unfairly criticized Chelsea striker, Nicolas Jackson.
Rio Ferdinand said the Senegalese striker does a lot of good work that goes unnoticed.
In a video posted by TNT Sports, the former England international was talking to Blues boss, Enzo Maresca when he claimed that the media had been harsh on the former Villarreal striker.
“I think he’s [Jackson] been unfairly criticised at times in the media by different people and different publications,” he said.
Talking about the importance of Jackson in his starting XI, the former Leicester City boss replied that he was doing everything needed to help the team.
