Lazio manager Marco Baroni has tasked Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to step up his game after a difficult start to life in Italy.
Dele-Bashiru joined the Biancolesti on loan from Turkish Super Lig club, Hatayaspor, in the summer.
Lazio has a mandatory option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The Nigeria international is still settling down in his new environment and Baroni has urged him to work on his weaknesses.
“Dele-Bashiru has great potential, but it’s clear he has to find the rhythm of the match, the mentality, the physicality, and the quality,” he told Noi Biancolesti.
“It’s not easy to transition from a different league to the Italian one, where mistakes are not tolerated.”
The midfielder has registered two goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions for Lazio.
