Russia midfielder, Danil Glebov has opened up on his heated exchange with Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel during Friday’s international friendly 1-1 draw at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Both players clashed in the final minutes of the match after Glebov brought down Osayi-Samuel in an attempt to win back possession for Russia.
The strong challenge infuriated the Fenerbahce defender and led to a yellow card for the Dynamo Moscow player.
Speaking to Sport Express post-match, Glebov said he committed a tactical foul on Osayi-Samuel, adding that the Nigerian defender got angry.
“Not me, the Nigerian got angry,” Glebov
“He didn’t like something. Nothing special, just a tactical foul.”
When asked specifically what he said to Osayi-Samuel during the heated exchange, Glebov admitted to using the F-word, adding that he’s not really good at English language.
